正文后的問候祝頌語雖然只幾個字，但表示寫信人對受信人的祝愿、欽敬，也有不可忽視的禮儀作用。祝領(lǐng)語有格式上的規(guī)范要求，一般分兩行書寫，上一行前空兩格，下一行頂格。祝頌語可以套用約定俗成的句式，如“此致”、“敬禮”、“祝您健康”之類，也可以另辟蹊徑，即景生情，以更能表示出對收信人的良好祝愿。如對尊長，可寫“敬請福安”、“敬請金安”、“敬請大安’、“恭請平安”;給平輩的信，則用“順頌時棋”，春天可寫“敬頌春安”，逢年可寫“即請年安”、“此請歲安”，平時用“敬頌時綏”之類;按對方職業(yè)可選用不同的祝頌語，對學(xué)界可選用“敬請學(xué)安”、“撰安”、“編安”、“文祺”、“教安”、‘誨安”;對政界可選用“恭請鈞安”、“勛安”;對商界可選用“敬請籌安”、“籌綏”、“商安”、“財祺”等。
箋文的最后，要署上寫信人的名字和寫信日期，為表示禮貌，在名字之前加上相應(yīng)的“弟子”、“受業(yè)”;給用人單位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)寫信，可寫“求職者”或“您未來的部下”。名字之下，還要選用適當(dāng)?shù)亩Y告敬辭，如對尊長，在署名后應(yīng)加“叩上”、“敬親”�！斑捣A”、“拜上”、“敬啟”、“肅上”等;對平輩在署名后加“敬白”、“謹(jǐn)啟”、“敬上”、“拜啟”等。
